The existing website was informational but lacked modern visual design and intuitive navigation. Over two weeks, I redesigned its layout, improved visual hierarchy, and streamlined the submission flow. The result: a refreshed, user‑friendly site that highlights the Award’s categories and processes more clearly.

User Research & Planning
I began by reviewing the current site structure and studying award categories, submission processes, and user goals especially international applicants wanting clear guidance and quick access.
In this phase, I mapped the site’s existing pages, identified confusing navigation flows (like award categories, eligibility, and submission steps), and prioritized reorganizing content based on clarity. I sketched wireframes emphasizing information hierarchy, easy language toggling (Arabic/English), and simplified calls to action so users can quickly access categories and apply.

Using Figma, I created key screens: home page, category listings, submission guidance, and contact page. I selected fonts and a color palette respectful to the UAE/Award branding. I enhanced navigation with a fixed menu, breadcrumb trails, and visible ‘Apply Now’ buttons. Interactive prototypes allowed client feedback and quick iteration. Finally, I refined visual elements buttons, forms, spacing to improve readability and accessibility.
